Tim Farin and I met in 2018 when he came to Tel Aviv ahead of the 2018 Giro d’Italia to learn more about the cycling culture and scene here in Israel. Tim and I sat down to discuss the 2020 ProTour season, how Corona has affected the races, and to guess who would win the Tour de France, and how the Giro and Vuelta would go. We recorded this episode back on September 16, 2020, before the end of the Tour, so we didn’t know what was coming! Tim is an accomplished writer, and recently published a fantastic book “Cape to Cape” documenting Jonas Deichmann’s ride from Norway to South Africa. Which can be found in German.
